Welcome to Mary’s website.
After qualifying as a dentist at Guys Hospital Dental School in 1986, Mary took up a series of hospital appointments in Maxillo-facial surgery and Paediatric Dentistry until gaining her Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1990. After a short spell in general dentistry she returned to Guys for a three year Orthodontic Postgraduate Training Programme.
In 1993, Mary was awarded Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of England combined with an MSc in Orthodontics. Since qualification, she has divided her professional work between a part-time post as an Associate Specialist in Orthodontics at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and Orthodontic treatment of patients in Specialist Practice. Mary has been incredibly fortunate to have great support from local dentists and orthodontic technicians, treating a fantastic set of patients in a wonderful part of Sussex. After over 30 years of treating orthodontic patients Mary is transitioning to retirement. She is completing treatment for existing patients and providing retention advice and retainers for those patients she has previously treated.
Mary is registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the General Dental Council and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and British Dental Association.
